Hi,
I want to build a small router using beagle; Is there any small board with two Ethernet board and/or Pattern Recognition Engine?
Hi,
I don’t understand your question ? what has a router to do with Pattern Recognition ?!
this is a Software features that you can implement or look for it exist and has nothing specific to beagleboard
I want to do deep packet inspection on that. Example i want to block http://www.xxx.com, for any user connected to net thru my router,
I want to build a small router with Application Layer firewall.
Hi Ayoub, Thanks for your great blog, you have done really wonderful projects specially the Wireless IP camera. Is it possible to add a new feature so that I can capture one frame (or make the camera take one image) and send it as MMS?if yes, what kind of GSM/GPRS shield can be used?
Do you have a plane to do it in the future? I am really interested to design a complete high resolution surveillance IP camera with SMS/MMS alarm.
Hi Majid,
yes of course you can capture one frame ( I used for that mplayer) and send it per email or sms.
For the broadband connection I’m using Huwawei E173, it’s a 3G shield and was very easy to get it working with the Beagle.
Thanks Ayoub,
I found a website that turn the Beaglebone into a high definition IP camera using Logitech C920 camera. Beaglebone is small and cheaper. So do you
think mplayer work with Beaglebone? does Huwawei E173 can work with Beablebone?
In the specification of Huwawei E173, Linux doesn’t found as supporting operation system!
yes of course it works with any linux system
